Ability to report Moderators

The behaviour of some Moderators here on Steam is absolutely shameful. One example is the poor behaviour of some moderators within the Cyberpunk 2077 community. Today I've tried to express my objections to CP2077 winning this years "Player's Choice" award but they keep deleting my posts. I haven't been banned, so I don't think that I've violated any rules.

These moderators also have a history of being a bit gun hoe with the bans and lockdown of posts. It is very clear, at least to me, that they just want to silence anyone that threatens their little echo chambers.

To say that their behaviour is shameful would be an understatement. Moderators are people and like any people they can act like douches.

Please add the option to report or lodge complaints against dodgy moderators.

Free speech means the government cant make laws against you speaking out against them, it doesnt mean anyone has to platform your inane nonsense.

Their space, their rules. They don't have to provide it to you. period. Thats THEIR right.

You're mistaking a "right to free speech" to mean you can say anything to anyone, anywhere and at anytime that you want. It's not. There is no right to speech on this platform. It's a privilege that can, and has been, taken away for whatever reason with no notice.

I haven't banned nor have I broken any rules recently. My posts are being deleted for no reason.

Look, I’m not sure I necessarily disagree with you about CDPR, particularly with respect to Cyberpunk, but going in to what is effectively their house, telling them how ♥♥♥♥ you think they are and expecting *not* to keep getting shown the door is ridiculous.

Game devs are free to moderate their hubs as they see fit.
If you go in and start insulting or just start complaining, the devs are free to ban you.
And look up Freedom of Speech, you will find out that it does not apply to the private sector.

You don't get to enter someone elses home and get to say what you want. It is not 'freedom from consequences'.
Freedom of Speech, means that the government can't try and censor you without a damn good reason.

They won a nomination, not the award. Voting for the award will be during the Winter Sale. It was on of the top games in that category. Objecting over it is really pointless. It clearly has enough fans who were willing to vote for it.

There is no point in reporting said moderators. Valve lest the game developers decide who they wish moderating and how. You can try contacting the game's developers with a complaint and they can look into who did the moderation and ask them about it, if they feel there isn't an obvious reason for it.

If you think it is a Valve appointed moderator, then you can contact support and it will act out the same way, with support looking into the matter.
