A person not liking something is a perfectly acceptable strategy for them to avoid certain things. It's indeed not a compelling reason for a company to change something.

People are allowed to choose what answer they wish, even if the answer is stupid or silly; it's their thread after all. If you don't like it, well, I guess that's just tough. Make your own thread, and that way, you can choose the answers that you like best.

I recall we pointed out such issues when Valve told us about adding the new system. People are less likely to put up a correct answer an more likely to put up the answer they agree with (if what they marked was even an answer).
