Add a Twitch Chat addon to the Steam Overlay

The new Steam Overlay is amazing. If you'd add addons, among which a Twitch Chat with no background for streamers who have only one screen (no app for that on Linux), that'd be absolutely spectacular. :)

And pretty sure Amazon doesn't want to allow Valve that option.

Steam forums have always been a cesspool.

Every single time you make a suggestion in the suggestion forums, folks whom would absolutely never be affected negatively by the feature come out the woodwork to tell you they don't want it and you don't need it.

I think that'd be pretty neat actually if Steam had this, but Twitch should be the one to fix their bullsh*t. There's no reason anyone should have a second monitor for something this simple.

I mean informed comments why it's not likely to happen isn't, "I don't want it so nobody should get it."

I don't think anyone posting so far cares if Valve jumps through all the hoops if that's what they want to do. But if they don't, there may be reasons besides they don't listen to users or some other nonsense, no? You don't want to hear those, or what?

Use the browser - no need for specialised addons that have nothing to do with Steam itself

Ya, every time I see one of these "add this to the overlay" suggestions, this is what I think of: a way to make something useful into a cumbersome mess, like a 3 lb. Swiss army knife.

Actually the more random features they add the more bugs they introduce and the less development time spent on features that actually matter. So its not true that adding all this random stuff doesn't effect people negatively.
