No.
Epic Games owns Fortnite. They will never bring it to Steam.
And, they won’t.
And we don't want them to.
Though I find it funny that some people keep demonstrating that they find value in being able to play the games they enjoy on Steam, rather than elsewhere.
But according to Epic supporters, a launcher is a launcher and a PC game is a PC game, and it shouldn't matter where you buy your PC games. Just get them wherever they're cheapest.
Yet we keep getting threads like this. Or people asking if it's possible to transfer ownership of their free game on Epic to Steam.
And that place happens to be Steam. Funny that.
Firstly, who is we? Quite obviously at least the TC wants them to.
Also, what's your point? I see people asking for GOG keys for their Steam games all the time. I see people asking whether their Steam games can be played on XBox or PlayStation all the time.
There are preferences. Some people like to use Steam and have all their games on here. Some people even exclusively use Steam because they don't know better or they are perfectly happy with it. Same goes for GOG, EGS, PSN, Live, ...
All that this shows is that people have different opinions. Imagine trying to create an argument about who is better over this.
With how much of Fornite's user base is children, it would be best for it to not be on Steam.
You are now officially an Epic supporter and Steam hater.
On the bright side: this entitles you to a free t-shirt and a cookie.
I think Riot waits to see how World of Warcraft performs on Steam before they do that
