It's fine that such games are on the store, there is a market for them. And Steam is a global store for various target audiences. It's ok that such a store has things a person doesn't like.
in past years steam did inact a new policy that caused alot of avatar bans that showed skin and skin related graphical content.
steam sells it cause people like it, its a cheap buy and steam is only capitalizing on its sales market audience, i don't blame steam for this, its just that steam is a predominantly adult male user group consisting of graphic anime lovers.
Yup... Seeing 1-2 anime style games on the front page " OMG THE ENTIRE STORE IS OVERRUN WITH WEEB CRAP! STEAM IS SO BAD NOW! RANT RANT RANT!"
Some people are really obsessed with hating anything anime looking.
Either it is actually advertising them, or casually admitting to own many of it.
Or having a funny teenager kid messing around. :)
However I would say less low quality porn games would be welcome. Or actually, just fewer low-quality games in general. I understand it's an open distribution model where the barrier for entry is $100 and the game has to be, at minimum, some kind of game and not malware. I do wish they would raise that bar just a tiny bit higher.
