Use the filters and don't look them up to get them to be suggested to you, if anything should be removed are asset flip garbage games (but even then, there is a market for them and some people like to play them for whatever reason.)

Filtering doesn't always work. Sometimes ratings and reviews outnumber the tags, filters and get bypassed. Valve needs a better system for Steam, but Steam has needed a lot of things for a lot of years. Valve has become a drip feeder.

While tag filtering can sometimes be hit or miss, particularly since tags are user generated, unchecking "adult only sexual content" (or just not checking it in the first place) is 100% effective.

it doesn't always work. I have this filter set and tags, but I still get shown anime porn games from time to time. The filter and tag system is not 100%.

On rare ocassions a developer 'forgets' to tag their game as 'adult only' and slips through. It's more of an exception than a norm.

Then there's the games with adult themes while not being adult only.

It works 100% for Adult Only Sexual Content because i have never enabled it and never see those games on the store. I also never use USER generated tags and any game can have the wrong tag applied.
