Unlock points shop Items If you own Skyrim Special Edition.

I own Skyrim Special Edition and can't purchase point shop items related to Skyrim. Seems they only unlock for the original version of the game.

That's a Bethesda/ Zenimax issue, not a Valve one.

They lied. Points Shop items are created/maintained by the developer.

If they didn't make them for SE, that is 100% on them.

Because they can't do anything about it either and their go to response is to ask on the forums.

Every support service tells people to ask Steam support for anything related to Steam.

We see it all the time when people complain about pricing to those companies, come back and complain on the forums after Steam support tells them to post here and then get told it is up to the devs/pubs and not Valve.

No Bethedsa is rather bad, like during Fallout 76's spewl they literally told people after 2 days of work post launch that their "Not going to do anything about it" then shutdown support...then brought it back up and accidently somehow managed to doxx over 50 of their customers by "mistake"

Not a huge issue, regular Skyrim only has static backgrounds and emoticons that are available on the Community Market. It'd be much cheaper to get these items that way.

If they released items exclusive to the Points Shop (animated backgrounds, stickers, etc.) and specifically set it up so they can only be obtained if Oldrim is owned, that would be a ♥♥♥♥ move.

Thanks for the info but I'm not putting any more money into the system, no matter how small it is.
