Last time I checked it is part of the middle east, unless you got something to share with the rest of the world to prove us otherwise with actual real facts, and not "I said so".

Unfortunately when the Ottomans decided that it was no longer political convenient to no longer claim to be the successor state of the Eastern Roman Empire, and ended up controlling most of the Middle East, most people just associated Turkey with it.

Doesn't it share borders with Iraq, Syria, and Iran?

Seems like it's the West-most middle Eastern country to me.

More like just Middle eastern country.
China, Taiwan, Japan, Vietnam, Korea, India and other countries around there are Asian countries.
Hilarious enough some sites puts Russia into Asian category.

I have often hear Turkey described as a bridge between the West and the Middle East, but it seems to me that "Middle East" is a Western term and Turkey should make it's own mind up. I am not sure why Steam would even group countries together under such terms.

Well Russian people mostly live in Europe, but Russia is mostly on the Asian continent.

I was going to say, Asia is mostly Russia if you look at it in terms of pure landmass. It's just that most of it is awful and frozen (And gorgeous) and nobody sane wants to live there.

Countries can be in more than one region.

Russia is in Asia and Europe.
Turkey is in the Middle East and Europe. The Middle East is part of Asia.

I mean most of our landmass is in Asia, even though ~75% of our population lives in Europe

I supposed they can use the term the Levant, but the term isn't used frequently anymore. The question is would you rather be lumped in that category over the current one.
