I want it so if they do use Denuvo that they have to disclose it on the store page. Denuvo is pretty much DRM but because they say it's not it gets treated differently than all the other DRM which is BS.
We don't always get what we want. Denovo is neither described or marketed as a DRM platform as far as I know so well , they don't really have to list on the Store page. That it can be used in a way that behaves like DRM is another matter entirely. I can use a knife as a screwdriver but that doesn't meat it has to be disclosed whether it fits thompsons or philips screw heads.
Or to put it this way. Online multiplayer and mandatory cloud saves can function as DRM. But they technically aren't. Otherwis, every online mmultiplayer game would have to say it uses an additional drm.
What's the beef against Denuvo anyway. You a salty pirate or something?
Personal inability to expand ones subset of definitions is not the problem of Valve , Developers or anyone but yourself.
In otherwords. You hate the fact that Denuvo prevents you from copying and distributing games as you like..
Says the one comoplaining about something that no one but a pirate or pirate wanna be would complain about. From what i'm ready the Denuvo thing works rather transparently and given the success rate.. it is likely to become a given for newer AAA game releases.
Considering how denuvo works. and that you actually have to look up games to findout which one has it. I;d say it means uit operates so transparently as to be invisible to the user during playtime and ios not something that would actually restrict a user much either , under normal use conditions. I mean in bygone days companies never disclosed what brand of copy protection was on their discs. It is not something they are required to divulge and not something they are typically advised to divulge.
It doesn't affect your ability to play, doesn't affect the quality to play, so f'getaboutit. But I suoppose it's safe to assume that any game that sees a release on origin from a mid to large studio is gonna have Denuvo

You do realize Valve isn;'t the opnly game in town right and since it's basically the major 3A games with this. this companies, especially EA, have no problem making it exclusive to their site.
Valve simply is not going to do anything to make pirate's lives any easier.
