The ability to download your own addons you've published to the steam workshop
Since of the downfall of the steam workshop downloader I need a way to update my addons frequently without wasting so much space on my disks, I used to just download the addons again manually and update them, upload and delete from my disk to save space, please, a download button for your own addons would be very appreciated, I can no longer support the updates of my addons...

I have no access to my own files I upload.
I've tried the steamcmd method, it does a really poor job, corrupts VTF files and LUA files in my addons.
And I know it's not the addon's fault since it works just fine and the VTF's aren't corrupt in game or when I last had access to them.

Or even better: you can toggle a button on the addon page which only the publisher sees to allow downloads or not, to make them publisher only, friends only or public.

Or you could go and buy a multi hundred gig thumb drive for a few bucks and store your files on it so no need to download them over and over again to update them.

I've seen 16 gig thumb drives for only like 4 bucks on sale. I got my 128 gig thumb drive for only 40 bucks a few years ago.

You can get 8TB backup drives for under 200.

Getting a newer bigger driver as your main drive or as a backup seems like a much better idea then waiting literally years for Valve to get around to this if they like the idea, which I doubt they would bother with because people should be storing their stuff on their own drives.

I mean full marks for being clever and using the workshop for cloud storage. But I wouldn't use it that way personally. And clearly it doesn't work quite like you intend. Proper solutions exist, and using them is going to be more productive than trying to get Valve and the workshop to behave just so to do things the way you want to do them.

If I were a choosing beggar I might try using GitHub for that sort of thing.

But I'd prefer the argument of using a properly large drive. And/or some cloud storage like dropbox or google drive.
