Allow use of Klarna

Klarna is a payment app where you can pay the price for anything in a split payment plan of 3 interest free, no apr payments.

Please allow klarna to be used on Stream.

Sounds like if one persons payment or an individual payment method doesn't clear then the entire purchase revoked causing more headaches.

No no, Klarna plays the full price there and then. So there is no issue on the steam side. The user then proceeds to pay on the payment days to clear the owed amount to Klarna. No interest, no apr. Just simple pay in 3 solution

Well it's a rosy picture. But how does Klarna make money? And one can make some argument that if you can't afford to buy a game without a payment plan that maybe you can't afford to buy a game.

But that's at least 50% bias on my part.

Paypal has this type of service (Pay in 4) and is available as a payment method already.

Same way as with any other purchase? Collecting merchant fees. And you using them for the 1000 dollar purchase instead of another service. Also late fees. Because unsurprisingly people who use installment payments often have cashflow problems.

If one pays their bills early or on time, there is no interest typically. If you need to pay for a game over time, you should not be buying the game or you should wait for a sale.

There are credit cards that offer this. It is your only choice for now as this suggestion has been brought up previously some time ago and has not been implemented.
