Disabling steam voice chat

So recently steam pushed out a steam privacy update, not to go into detail but in that update there was nothing relateing to removal to of voice chat.

To go over what I mean since some people in old threads don't seem to understand what they mean:
Steam voice chat:What I mean by that is whenever you talk to your friend you have the ability to click on the large right arrow to start a voice chat. (Yeah it's a thing.)

So I want to know if there is actually a way to disable steam voice chat, because I don't want my friends to spam me voice chat invite when I have a discord for a reason.

and if there isn't one, I want to GREATLY suggest a way to disable this, I really hate steam voice chat.

There is no way to disable it and there really is no need to, just tell your friends that you don't use it and to stop requesting you to use Steam voice chat and to get on your Discord channel, it's not that hard to do.

But there is, no matter what I say they spam voice chat and it's getting annyoing.
Admitingly I plan to remove them
Buit still, it's annoying and the fact my friends can do it.

I should've prob added it in, but they can still do it when they're blocked.

Remove them as a friend. There's no reason to have this. Steam voice chat is just as good as discord, i actually prefer it for person to person since they're already on the platform.

You're talking about a troll, there's MANY MANY ways for a troll to grief a person, You just have to block AND remove them.

Yes, we need this feature. We had it in the old steam to disable dialing sound and notification. Now I can't disable dialing sound.
