Marketplace for Steamgifts

Any chance that the Marketplace will be updated to Steamgifts too (of course Regionbased for RU/CIS, EU, US and so on because of the price difference)? I have several games in my account which I don't need and my friends already own those games. So that would be a place to sell them.

Game licenses can not be transferred from one account to another.

a game that exist in the inventory is tradable. once it is added to the account it cannot be traded.

you cannot sell a steam gift, you can only trade or gift them. if you could sell them, the game developer would also get a cut of the money from that sale, and that cut would be the lions share. you also would be unable to set the price on the gift, the game developer has full control over it on steam.

there is a reason steam stopped allowing game gifts to be added to the inventory. there is no reason for them to add an option for them on the market

Use Steamgifts website to give them away or trade others for something else you want, but I would not get your hopes up that Valve would add a way to resell those gifts.

Yup, they stopped it for the most part of allowing people to get Steamgifts into their inventories, but there are still some ways to get them.

The store still has some available, yes but they can no longer be made since Valve stopped letting them.

I have not bought one of those for a long while, but I know that some games still give a giftable Steam copy when you make the purchase and able to get some still when friends get me a game and able to put it in my inventory.

Those just might be old and the system has not changed for them, but I remember a few recently new "I think they still allowed it".
