An option to hide NSFW items in the steam points shop

Every once in a while I go to the points shop to see what's new and each time I find new hentai items, again and again, and now 50% or more of the points shop is just hentai backgrounds and avatars, so I have suggested to the steam support to add this option or to apply it from the regular steam store since it is an option there.

The point is what I used are largely examples of actual over the top sexualization or otherwise being overly suggestive, including politicized versions of such, many of which are aimed at younger audiences. Some song lyrics especially in certain categories also call for many things which are illegal in many countries. Some anime women with shorts or full coverage swimsuits, or seeing a fully covered butt or legs as if wearing a swimsuit is really nothing.

You have a drug based username with a drug flag in your profile, but you have an issue with these examples? You can just scroll beyond the items you don't want, it's as simple as that. There's also the ability to filter in these sections: Items from Games, Avatar, Backgrounds. For games/software etc that you happen to own or otherwise want to see, if you strictly want to focus on those.

In this case, you seem to have interesting morals where one thing is entirely ok to participate in and show support of, but seeing something else is entirely not ok based upon your perception which is largely inaccurate.

nah I'm kidding, I would understand why you'd think that, but in reality 420 is my favorite number and the weed symbol is just a meme, I'm actually against any type of drug irl. Points Shop assets must be globally all-ages appropriate, as they are not age-gated. Regardless of what is included in-game, assets should not include adult content or realistic gore. Adult content includes:

No items currently are NSFW, but some can be said to be borderline. There should be an option that users to check off on an item they wish to not see tho and keep it hidden unless they want to show it again.

You don't have to though. Just use the Steam exchange. They add entries chronologically so you can regularly check what is new. There may even be a better filtering system there too.

I'm very tired of seeing softporn in the mini-profile background point shop section.
Can we get options to filter away all anime content here for those who need it?
