Mark specific games invisible
I would like to mark specific games invisible so when I play them people on my friends list can't see that I'm playing it.

I know I can mark myself as invisible in the friends list but it would be annoying to do that every time I want to play that specific game. I'd rather be able to right-click that game in the library and mark it invisible and have it show with a different color background in the game list so I can see that it is marked invisible and no one on my friends list will know I'm playing it. All game activity for that specific game would be hidden, but the friends list would otherwise continue to function as normal.

IMO this would be a much appreciated QOL upgrade to Steam's interface now that AO rated games are allowed.

Click on Edit Profile Privacy Setting then set it to Private under Game Details.

I don't want to set my profile to private. I want to mark a specific game invisible.

The problem is Steam is both a game store and a social media platform. I want to keep my profile open.

But hide certain games in my library.

This is a quality of life thing that should have been added years ago.

Steam is NOT a social media platform. Just because you perceive it to be doesn't make it true. It is a distribution platform for games and that's it. It's not meant to be a blog for people despite how some treat it (and usually get banned for blogging in the forums)

Bump, steam should just hide all game details for games under the hidden game tab.

It literally is a social media platform. We create profiles and post on forums. What we are doing right now is social media.

Well I guess it will come evenutally seeing as there is a thread like this literally every week.

People should still use a second account. It works. Period. And it will work, no matter how much Steam or the user ♥♥♥♥♥ up.
