Hidden nicknames of those who liked the post and screenshots

This is bad, it is illogical, it is inconvenient.

It's very convenient to watch those who are active, afterwards, to thank in return. You hid it.
Better to make it like on, for example, Facebook, when all can be seen, who liked your post or artwork, or screebshot. In case of privacy, give ppl right to choose it by changing in settings.

However, if this is an irreversible innovation, then at least give an author the opportunity to see who liked their work by notification in "activity" or somehow else, so the only one who'll see this is gonna be the author on itsown.

Responses are part of a discussion when someone has NO valid reason why a privacy feature needs to be removed.

Oddly you classify others as perverts whilst wanting validity of the suggestion and is never a good way to get others on your side.

Finally a discussion involves differing opinions without the need for affirmation, a point you seem to have missed but feel free to post real world details about yourself on your profile or would that violate your privacy.

Errr no. If we want you to know we can mention it in a comment at the same time. Stop using Facebook or any other social media platform. They are not the best platform/s in the world and they are not the same. Facebook doesn't give a **** about user privacy apart from where it has to due to laws and uproars. However it will continue to harvest and use data if they can disguise the fact they are doing it despite privacy reasons and if found out all users will get a 'We could do better, we should do better. I'm Sorry' comment from Zucker just like every other time.

Steam is not FB. It has no reason to be. So stop trying to get features from a free social media platform that rapes your private data on Steam.

Add this and anyone with privacy concerns or just rather private won't bother liking your posts. I know I won't bother........................

Gwarsbane, it was DOA the moment he had his friends list of inactive forum users show up to basically "+1" the idea and attempt to rely on a friend since they're too hostile to work with people themselves. It was DOA, it's still DOA.

I'm sure the weird outbursts are also an indication that this has no merit at all, they can't even take it on in a mature manner.

I agree with the author of this post, because if this is an irreversible innovation, then at least give the author the opportunity to see who liked his work by notifying them in the activity feed section.
