Animated Avatars

I think I speak for the steam community we would like to use our own steam animated avatars, we can already buy an animated avatar but it's not the same, I personally would like tu use an animated avatar of my personal choice like I do with images

I agree with the premise you make but this is something that might never happen.

I don't like any of animated avatars except a few from Dota 2 and the Risk of Rain skull avatar.

Also the chances are basically zero now that they are part of the point shop. Why want to have points if you can just upload your own. Even one that is featured in the shop.

They already support gifs in the ava, they just need to give permission to have the animation of it

But anything animated was only made available to the points shop and was done so for a reason.

If users were allowed to make their own, the points shop would be redundant.

You certainly do not speak for me or the community, I don't want them, many people don't want them, sadly some people do and thats why there is the ones in the points store.

I do wish that people would learn to use the search feature BEFORE posting and read whats previously been posted about a topic and add to last/biggest thread about the topic that already exists.
