If it doesn't have dedicated F-keys, then there is usually a function button to hold, while you push other keys to act as F-Keys.
You can enable the address bar in the setting as well and there will be a reload button to the left of the address bar.
F5 is the universal refresh key used by all modern browsers. So makes sense to use that instead of using non standard keys
Two key presses, versus two key presses. Not seeing the inconvenience.
So a simple inconvenience for you requires Steam to rework their app?
Makes perfect sense, much like other recent suggestions.
F5 - a single hit, in an easy to reach place for people regardless of their mouse hand.
There is nothing "less intuitive" about hitting one button vs holding one and then hitting another. Please stop suggesting things for Steam because it's how you want it, this clearly has no benefit at all for the majority of users and is yet-another self serving thread.
As pointed out, F5 is universal and simple to use.
