Can we please hide our adult games?
I don't need people knowing the depths of my depravity..
Thank you,

Yea, all i'm seeing is p*rn games nowadays..

Please don't censor porn. it makes no sense.
Also, there are more than porn games here.

Not what this is about. Actually the opposite. Purveyors of legal visual sexual simulations and simulations want an atomic level of privacy without impacting their whole profile:)

You seem confused.
I was directly addressing another person.
So, you cannot claim I wasn't talking about what he was saying.

OK then please quote the person you are addressing. Makes it easier for us slower individuals.

People like my friend care. He can't go to sunday dinner with his parent anymore because they are super religious and his brother is a huge ♥♥♥♥ that decided it was a good idea to bring up the furry sex game. See that's what can happen when you decide you don't care that people see a particular game. In this case my friend has had real world consequences that could have been avoided with a simple evolution of a privacy feature.

Anyone who doesnt recognize the potential for real world consequences is living under a rock. Those with work/family responsibilities understand.

Unfortunately this is how this pathetic hypocritical world works. Everyone in this world has something like this they keep to themselves (if you are human, alive and breathing) and should not be a determining factor in anything like losing a job or not being able to eat dinner with those pathetic parents (he should feel lucky to not have to deal with them, a lot of people would be happy to be in his shoes).

But you don't have to share your online life all the way with friends, family or even most to all jobs (some depending what they are want that info).

I'm sure something could be added some day to hide certain games but just hide them all for now.

I agree this would be a popular feature since Steam allowed lots of NSFW games recently.

I am sure some fathers would like to play with their teens, but dont really want them to see how many hours they spent on "Fap Queen". That would make for some awkward dinner conversation with mom.. lol

It's great that you feel comfortable in your own skin. Do try, however, to understand that many don't. Some don't even have the opportunity to feel that way, for various reasons.

Basic privacy features should not be treated as an unreasonable request. This is pretty much asking for the bare minimum.

Because doing that can break a few games in some ways. Example, friend invitations in Payday 2 don't work if you set everything as private.
Not only can I invite people normally with a private account, they can invite me as well in Payday 2.

Your issue is somewhere else.
Maybe it's been fixed since the incident, but the fact that it did happen shows that it can create problems, which is why I think it's better to have it on a case by case basis instead of all or nothing. I've no problem with friends seeing I've Phasmophobia, but I want to forget about that other game that now has ties to Epic.

Ties to epic? What is epic?

That's true. Epic's the reason I want to forget about it. In fact, I'd like the ability to hide games from for another reason. Not because they're for adults, but I don't even want friends even thinking about asking me to join in a game of it with them. You see, this is another reason people might want to hide games from others. And it's not just an issue over company ties. Some games can end up getting broken because of updates to the game, the OS, drivers, or a combination of the the three and they can't seem to fix it or something after the refund period is over.
