Only allow one steam account wich is registered with personal id ?
I want Steam accounts to be registered with some sort of personal identifications..

That way the life of being a Steam supporter will be alot easyer in the future and the Steam users will be alot more satisfied aswell ..

And why is that you may think ?

1. It will prevent hackers to use bots of any kinds, like Report & forum bots and stuff like that.

2. It will prevent a person to return to steam again, unless that person change his personal identification in real life too !

3. It will prevent cheaters to have unlimited chance´s to exploit and hack the game and the anticheat system and cheat in the games Valve & steam service offer to its users.

4. It will be alot easyer for Valve to credit people that do a good job to keep the steam clean and a happy place to be

5. It will help to protect our childrens against unwanted content´s such as porn and stuff like that

The only kind of Steam users that dont want this, is the kind of persons that cheats and ruin the gameplay for everyone ells here on Steam

These individuals will of course try to downplay and come up with all sorts of excuses against such an initiative on the part of Valve´, they will say e.g. that their privacy is being violated and that they have the right to cheat in the games because they themselves have paid for them etc, etc ..

So my biggest hope here on steam is that Valve takes the spoon over into the other hand and then slaps these sinners and demands that personal identification be required to be able to be here on steam and play the games that Valve offers the users here!

Yours sincerely

1, you make your one account, I steal it from you and use bots because you failed to protect your log in

2. fake ID's are a thing

3. so you want to be permanently banned from a game because you failed to protect your log in and the person that stole the account cheated?

4. makes no sense

5. steam is not a nanny service, parents need to do a better job monitoring their kids

and people already try to downplay their cheating and claim they have a right, so your idea would change nothing.

I have around 8-9 accounts on Steam
1. Old one
2. This one that I use now as my main one
3. A testing account used to test issues that are related to accounts
4. Arcade account used to set up an arcade at home for testing and playing with people that come to my house
5. Games account, an account made to keep games
6. A gem bot, that helps to combine gems together
7. Second testing account
8. limited account for testing issues with a limited account
9. storage account

I really don't want to limit this to one account
In any case, no Valve does not need to ask for your private info just so they can maybe block some cheats on the system, I mean first of all how will they verify the person? not all countries and I think even most to all of them don't really hand out there peoples info out to anyone that asks for it
Are you going to use ID system? because one of my accounts on Facebook passed there's by sending a fake ID

There is no real way to get this working, and it's more likely to get more users angry and aggravated than anything else I think
The cons of this idea I think way overshoot the mark and the pros of this idea

And cheaters I assume will just fake IDs if they can
More than that, I think it will create a market of fake ID's from users all around the world to bypass this, and will unlikely to stop "hackers" and the like, but will harm a lot of private users, some that care for there privacy and will not want to hand that out
And that is besides that I think some countries will look at this in a bad eye

Isn't this like your 3rd or 4th attempt at posting a topic like this, pretty sure I've seen you post this stuff before. I'm also pretty sure you've been part of a few of the "personal ID" or "require passport" posts in the past.

And you have talked about this before...

If you had bothered to use the search feature you would have discovered that its not going to happen, short version, its just not possible because Valve won't have access to government database to verify anything... and photoshop exists.

Guess you haven't been part of many, or maybe you just deleted your posts in them. Either way using the search feature you would been the better thing to do instead of post this all over again...

Heck I have more than one account for my own reasons, one of those reasons is for when friends/family come over and we want to play a game or 2.

The OP is calling everyone that disagrees with their demands criminals and sinners -- while yet again demanding that Valve break the laws of many countries and many US states on behalf of CS:GO players. And one of the many threads on this issue stated that South Korea actually tried something like this, and it backfired massively.

This isn't as bad as the post where someone declared that removing cheaters from CS:GO must be more important to world governments than dealing with the Pandemic. Or the post where someone declared that Valve must remove Steam from all countries that refused to allow this.
