As I said in the other thread, it's silly that we keep having and separating people into smaller and smaller groups, events/conventions, etc. It should just be games festival or indie game festivals, allowing one to a specific group of people means that all groups of people should be able to have such events.

I agree. But we haven't seen the "Whites Only Games Festival" and thank God for that.
But then why is Steam promoting the "Not Whites in Various Shades Games Festival"?

Well if twitter is anything to show, people think they can demand anything and everything of companies.

I haven't seen Steam pander though, or answer to demands, which is quite nice.

"Latnix" is Lingual Colonialism

Valve i'm very dissapointed in your decision to put the word "Latnix" instead of Latino. Latnix is a word made by americans in an attempt to "fix" Spanish. No self respecting Latino would use the word and it's very americanized.

Just as colonialists invaded and forced it's natives people to change for the colonists own benefits now we see it again by forcing this "PC" friendly term.

Latin refers to the Roman Empire or the language of Latin. Call a person of Spanish descent "Latin" is like calling a German person "Prussian" or calling a French person a "Gaul."
