music playing on steam profiles

the a music track would be selectable like a music kit and auto play when yor veiwing someones profile

I rather not beeing annoyed by some stupid autoplay music while viewing someones profile.

I hope that will never become a thing.

I remember how annoying it was when some people managed to get it working with some scripting. It was fixed pretty quickly though.

to be honnest all i wanted is to play big smokes order bass boosted at 50 decibels when ever some looks at my profile

This has been suggested a few times and always got a bad response, keep to your own music players and I would rather not listen to anyones horrible music choices and or listen to stupid annoying music (noise) someone would put on their profile for <fun>.

Valve wouldn't add this, unless there was a way to set your Steam client to not auto-play the music. And as most people would do this, the music would never get heard, making it a pretty useless thing for Valve to waste a bunch of time and resources trying to add.
