Sync cart between desktop and mobile client

My cart does not sync between desktop and mobile client.Is this by design ?

The cart is saved per "device" so yeah it's by design if you'd call it that.

Carts are usually bound to the store session and are persisted during checkout.

A PERSISTENT cart would be nice in the first place. Not only does the thing empty at a whim when actively shopping, but ya can't leave anything in it as a sort of a buffer wishlist / reminder because it also empties randomly every couple days. If not the cart, then maybe they could just improve wishlist handling, including the ability to make separate ones for clarity? Mine is virtually unusable now because there's very little I can do with 3+k titles in the ways of sorting or rearranging with the very limited tools at the disposal. Not even steamDB and other browser enchancements are of much help, especially seeing as they seem to be broken most of the time or abandoned outright and filtering doesn't work no more... Sorry for the necrophilia. I need to make this a separate thread I suppose...
