I think it was this way by default and I haven't even touched it ever since it came out.
I can't wrap my head around your dislike of people who watch porn (?) or masturbate (?). As long as the consumed material isn't illegal and sticks to certain "rules" (e.g. no childporn, no sex with animals, consent) there shouldn't really be an issue with it. And of course as long as it doesn't drift into an addiction with negative long-term consequences but that isn't the case here.
Shaming other people the way you do is ... sad. Touching yourself isn't a sin. Doesn't turn you into a creep. Porn comes in all variations - "lewd" games, smut in fanfictions, movies.

...it's almost like there are these filters that you can use to not have to see things you don't want to see on Steam!
Now, I've made the point plenty of times in this topic that some of those are poorly implemented and only work -sometimes- ...so they could definitely be improved, but they're there.
Also spot on about the "locked to grid-systems".
This is what I was talking poorly attempting to articulate.
It's a pretty big market on Steam.
I am not a fan of just re-skinning a game but clearly it's working for them as if people weren't buying more than enough to cover the cost and time they'd stop,
Other things you could do is help steam know you better so genres you might not have purchased on Steam but do play come up. Since some games are oddly tagged visit what Steam says you like often.
Steam decided to have a commitment to indie developers and while some of those will rise to be less indie some of the most popular browser games are basically the same game so live and let game.

If people want to masturbate to a game with a woman holding three sticky strawberry blancmanges, whilst juggling 12 ping pong balls whilst talking to a scotsman who thinks he's a Welsh Corgi called Roy, then that's entirely up to them.
It is no business of yours, and does not provide ANY good reason why it shouldn't be on the store.
I mean... they could do that with regular games too.
I'm sure a lot of people have done that in response to Bayonetta & "Zero Suit" Samus.
Probably some in regards to Zelda... I'd say less in regards to Princess Peach because of how modest she is but... I have run Google searches that had the wrong key-words in them before, not even intentionally, so I know even she is a HUGE source of excitement for people...

Also, women have feelings too. ...and some of these games have such big, strong men - literally vikings, some of them.
Heck, it doesn't even have to be human for people to get that kind of a response to it!
I've seen "that kind" of art about boats before. BOATS! It was hilarious to me.
Hentai puzzles are just puzzles with provocative themes. I wouldn't be surprised if there were a few people that played them just because they like puzzles because, engaging in any sort of an "intimate act" is an independent action to playing a game.
