Then you should stop right away. There's thousands of games and visual novels with adult content on Steam. You don't even need to use the browser to access porn sites, you can just play a porn game.
No there arnt. I know what you are refering to, but they are more in the erotic sphere.
So full intercourse is just erotic? You clearly have a strange definition for porn then.

Don't let the door hit you on the way out.
Well.. i have never seen anything like that on Steam. If its out there, then its small in number. BUT, if you are right, and Steam is indeed turning into a pornographic application, then you are indeed correct, that i shouldnt be here.. nor should anyone else whos human. Because pornography is a poison, for the mind and soul.
But in which case.. Steam needs to have a way, of either allowing their users to be able to play the offline games they paid for, WITHOUT the need for the thus pornographic Steam application. Or to give back people their money, for said games, they will no longer be able to play, without said pornographic application.
They don't need do either you mention.
You can open any website inside Steam Client without having to shift+tab inside a game.

If you don't like it then you're free to stop using Steam.
Sounds like a theft operation to me. The environment of Steam used to be one thing, and now its become another. I dont recall signing up to a pornographic application. I signed up to a gaming application, for humans.
You use a computer, that can also be used for pornography. How come you don't ditch that?
The in-game browser subject is also not a "security" issue either. A security issue implies the threat of a data breach, which isn't the case.
And please, cut the holier-than-thou virtue signalling.
If your problem is with people being able to search for porn, then by your own logic, you shouldn't be using internet browsers either.
