Add a way to hide "Favoriting" activity for other people's Workshop items

Is there a way to hide my "Favoriting" activity for other people's Workshop items? I would like to hide this activity from friends but I can't seem to do this without putting my entire profile into Private...

Another thing as well - if I favorited an item accidentally and then unfavorited it, it still shows up in the Activity feed that I favorited it.

I know you can hide what you see from friends in the options of the activity feed but not your own, this would be a nice addition to select what we want our friends to see and not to see not just what we favorite from the workshop.
