Unfortunately I don’t understand what you mean by music kit, never heard the term before.
That aside I foresee the issues of copyright. Unless valve can get the rights to use the music this wouldn’t be possible.

3. If you wanted to play music, either:
A. Open the Steam overlay, and use the Steam music player that has scan your system for music to play your music.
B. Open the Steam overlay, and use the Steam browser to listen to your music from YouTube, or etc...
C. Run your own music player in the background playing your music files.
D. Open your own browser of choice in the background, and listen to your music from YouTube, or etc...
