Should Steam Allow Us Visit Devs And Get Sign Autographs?
I had an interesting idea to users that spend a lot of money on steam on certain Dev games,
these users should be rewarded a Special VIP ticket that invites you to visit the devs for an hour?

How much should you spend to earn Special VIP ticket? I don't know it's steam and devs bussiness and they can decide.

Have you always dream to visit the devs and play new game in the making?
Think how super cool when you post here you was one of the lucky ones visit the devs.
Well this could be your ticket to that dream of yours.

Once again this could be rare amount uses earn for real people; who spend real money.
So maybe about 10 lucky users get Special invites a month?
Many devs in steam, am sure something can be worked out.

Runners up get a free 10 min phone call from devs calling you and can ask them many questions about their games in 10 mins.

Most of you go on hoilday so would be great to visit devs when your on hoilday?
EA epic don't offer this feature and steam has the chance to blow them out the water offering, this amazing feature.

Are you a dev? would you like to invite users to your office?
Why say no? when it feels soo great to say yes?

I would love to enjoy this exclusive offer, theres no where i can go and get this offer? that's why exclusive. make it a reality steam needs parnership with devs, Steam has everything to gain with more people spending more money here insted other stores, with this great offer.

For those who spend less on steam
Next runners up: get to email devs questions 1 email

For those who spend less on steam
Next Runners up: Win Sign autograph from random dev maker (Signed from Paint Program)

Maybe for starters Steam can have a special game Package like for new and old games where you select what type of game you want,

Base Game
Or Base Game= (Signed from Paint Program) Paying £1 extra
Gold game= Includes random dev maker (Signed from Paint Program)

This gives users and fans incentive to buy from steam insted of other sites, as you can only get this amazing offer on steam.

I am not asking for this, i am wishing for amazing offer.
Just think how cool to have a Sign autograph from Cyberpunk 2077 dev?
Or GTA 6 Dev?

Steam can start offering this amazing offers in march when Steam releases new Half Life game
You buy game and you click certain packeage tab and you get random dev Sign autograph from Paint Program.

How much more should steam charge more to get Sign autograph from dev Paint Program?
I dont know? £1 more? Steam can generate these so they never run out.
They can decide fair prices.

Worst case scenario: If Devs decides no? Devs can include in extras in game showing Dev Sign autograph depending if you brought certain version on steam.

What's wrong with amazing feature? or have both?
Or maybe have Dev Sign autograph in the game? Am sure devs can think of amazing idea to add in game.

Love to be playing Cyberpunk 2077 and in the game you read email contains message from dev and Sign dev autograph. WOW Yes please???
Just think how great if they added feature in to mass effect games.

This is sooooo easy for steam to add this feature in to there new Half Life game in March, read email in game from dev and see sign dev autograph in game, hopefull there's time for them to start now.

How long would that feature design take?
I think such amazing great idea steam should add this feature to every new Steam Dev game they release in future.

Come to steam for these exclusive offer, Steam should start now otherwise risk losing out when future companys think of this amazing idea. i think you people are great and deserve these rewards for your amazing loyality to steam.
Maybe you can improve on my idea?

Am sure something amazing can come.
Surely steam is very capable in working something out, they always do, we have to trust steam and great many users who love this amazing exclusive offer if steam is ready to start?.

That has absoultely nothing at all to do with steam. Dev's can run any type of promotion like that they want and many do via kickstarter or others that are designed to support that.

Valve gives tours on occasion.

Anyone else? That's entirely up to the studio in question.

Do you believe that the hundreds of thousands of different games sold here are ... all "by" steam?

"Meet the devs for one hour" ... and have a 12 hour flight to get there (not included). :steammocking:

Sorry to burst your bubble, developers are nothing special and most do not want to be randomly disturbed during work. Just like most workers.

Sort of. Still trying to enter the market at the moment.

No.

Because it doesn't? I don't know why you assume people would just agree with this.
If I'm working on a project, I don't want to be disturbed, especially if it's to talk with random people on the phone, respond to emails, or sit in a booth and sign my name for hours. That's practically a second job.

And as already mentioned, something like this is out of Valve's control. Steam is just a storefront for publishers to sell their games. Any kind of special event like this would have to be setup by said publishers for their own purposes.

There is nothing stopping you from contacting these developers on your own, paying for your own flight, meals, hotel and all that other stuff to meet with them to get an autograph after you have handed them over a few hundred bucks for wasting their time.

The only developers who at at Valve are Valve employees. Of the 99.99% or more of the games that are not Valve owned that are on Steam, NONE of them work at Valve.

Valve has nothing to do with them. The devs are also all over the world, not in buildings around Valves headquarters.

Your posts are becoming more and more troll like.

This is not an idea nor suggestion for steam client or platform, you would have to speak with the game developers regarding this.
