Ability to report comments people leave on your profile
Currently the only option you have is to delete the comment, We should be able to report anyone leaving inappropriate comments on our profile.

If the delete button automatically reports then this isn't needed.

When you hover over the comment, there is a flag icon that shows up on the far right. It says "Hide and report this comment".

Evidently you can report a comment on someone else's profile, but only delete them when it is on your own profile... seems a bit odd.

Not on your own profile, that only appears on others profile. On your own profile the only option is delete.

Yep. I'm just not sure if deleting it also reports it (some people said yes, but i'd like confirmation from someone who actually works with it), but seems like a missing feature to not have any way to report off your own profile.

Block the user, show the comment and then click delete.

Tell me what happens.

When you click delete its removed from your profile completely.

I think it is intended that you can report the user by his/her profile, delete the comments and block them. That may be why you can't report the comments on your own profile, since you have other options, while others can't delete them and now only report them.

That is just a guess on my part though, as it make the most sense for why it is like that.

Yeah but that brings up the question if I report him and then delete the comments can those comments still be seen after i delete them by moderators?

Support can and that is who get those reports. Moderators deal mainly with the forums.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.
