Gamer Library - Need some love

I have over 600 games. When I add new ones from the Humble Bundle monthly, it's about impossible to find what I added without referring back to the site. The library in general needs a upgrade - it just doesn't work given the number of games that get accumulated over the years. I'd really like to seem enhancements to it. Someting to help me play my back log, etc.

You have the recent section in your library. It is very clear that you don't use the already there features properly, so why bother adding new ones ?

Assign categories.
Any new game that has not yetbeen assigned can be found under uncategorized.

CJ Hunter - It's mixed in with what I've played and over time becomes useless. Sort of like most of your posts judging by your history. Someone needs a hug. And a block. Don't know why people have to act like such douches.

cinedine - yeah I had done that and use to exactly do that. Took a bit of time. Then a steam update in the last year wiped them. Just don't feel like doing that again.

This is one of the many downsides to buying digital games instead of physical. I urge you to switch to physical games only that hold resale value.

Whoa...how did we get onto physical games? Man I love Steam. Spinning up a new game box is soooo easy. I just would like a better library experience. QOL....

Yeah I buy my games physically on either the Switch, PS4 or PS-Vita because you can generally always re-sell them if you end up not liking them. In my case i'm always to get more money back then what I paid in the first place too.

But that's not a solution to the PC Library issue that was proposed in this thread. I agree, and I buy Physical games on my consoles as well.

As I understand it, they're working on an updated library experience; they've talked a bit about it at some conferences, and in the update page for the recent chat UI updates, they do allude to updates to the chat being just the beginning:

Friends and chat are just the beginning. This update was built using a new UI framework and includes some important architectural improvements under the hood, all of which allow us to make more frequent updates to our web-based Steam components. There are many improvements to the overall Steam experience that we plan to tackle, and your feedback helps us to prioritize what's next.

Given how furious the new chat UI made some people, I'm actually kind of looking forward to seeing how furious a new library UI will make people.
