Steam profile background idea

When you scroll down on higher level steam profiles, when the background ends it gets a bit dull. I was thinking that you can add more profile backgrounds say every 20 levels (or how many it would be to make them nicely fit) so when you scroll down, after the first one ends you will have another one. This would also allow us to nicely showcase more than one background while keeping things interesting.

Only change to Profile Background I'd like is to make it stay as the background. No need for it to be interactive and change height as you move the page down/up.

Nono, not changing the height etc, i mean having another different background when you scroll down far enough.

@GreenLight I know what you meant. Editted my post to make my comment clearer. I meant only profile background change I'd like would be to make it fixed in position.

But what about artwork that uses the background? That would break that way.

Good point. Maybe an option to allow users to have it static or dynamic/slide/default along with a slideshow style option to use multiple that rotate as users move up/down the page.

Static = background never moves
Dynamic/default/current = Backgroud moves as it does now.
Slideshow = Background1 - Background2 - Background3 - Background1 - Background2 -Background3

Slideshow could also have a toggle random.

They I would demand multiple artwork showcases (one for each background)
and the option to link it to a background so they still match up if the random slideshow is used.

interesting idea but steam UI has many other trash aspects they need to fix first. so i vote no.

I wouldn't want "more profile backgrounds" when the first ends, I'd just like to see static backgrounds where it doesn't move when you scroll down and have an empty side while scrolling endlessly it seems on some profiles.
