Hey, i wish the Instant Pay function ( Bank Transfer like Sofort by Klarna) for Switzerland. It is easier to Pay with this except with Paypal or something else.

So you want a direct payment option from your bank account? Don't think they're both going to do direct withdraw to your Steam account any time soon. People in the past ask for this, but doesn't seem like it's going to happen.

If they don't offer Master card, Visa, or other credit card with the bank account, then I suggest linking it to PayPal, and just use PayPal. Some banks allows you to pre apply for credit card using the same card as your bank card, making it really convenient, this way you can do what you wanted as you suggested but using the credit card part really.

Well if don't want to get a credit card, or any other services, that includes Paypal, and don't want to get Steam cards, then you're basically SOL, and may want to go somewhere else instead of using Steam. I don't think they're going to do direct bank to bank transfer any time soon.

There's ClickAndBuy, but I believe thats only limited to selected countries, just like Webmoney, there's JCB another credit card company.

So not a lot of options to choose from really, either:
A. Link your bank to PayPal if don't want to apply for a credit cards, or buying Steam gift cards.
B. Apply for a credit card, so you don't have to link your banking to PayPal, or buying Steam gift cards
C. Just buy Steam gift cards, if you don't want to link bank to PayPal, or apply for a credit card.

If the bank you're with has credit card option you can opt-in then I suggest go to them when the bank open, ask how to apply, it could be simple as just sign few things of having a open credit limit added to your account, and everything else remain the same, and you get a new card that you can be use as your bank/credit card. So can't hurt to check your own bank to find out, there's nothing wrong at all of getting a credit card.

The whole point of people asking for other payment methods is because they don't want to use the ones provided.
It's rather pointless to explain how you can apply for a CC or tell them to use paypal.

He asking for direct bank to bank money transfer, not money orders like Western Union, if you're confuse. Also I forgot to mention Cash on delivery, which is only available to selected countries, which takes you to another service just like PayPal is doing, but takes way longer.

There are other options that other services use such as:
- Money orders such as Western Union.
- Pay by phone

Services such as *some* ISP, getting direct pay from work, or etc, they do direct bank transfer, as most gaming platforms I seen do not accept direct bank transfer options, they would ask you for a credit card, paypal, or anything like paypal, money orders, and pay by phone.

No, OP is asking for another payment method. One that is as easy tzo use as PayPal. One they are comfortable with. It just explained that this service they ask for is similar to another.

No, OP is asking for another payment method. One that is as easy tzo use as PayPal. One they are comfortable with. It just explained that this service they ask for is similar to another.

Well Sofort & Klarna are both a banks if I remember right, and that what i'm telling you is that I don't think they're going to do bank to bank money transfer any time soon.

Services like Paypal, I know that Skrill is supported, but only limited to selected countries.

There's Venmo, Dwolla, Google Wallet, Payoneer, Payza, 2Checkout, Intuit, ProPay, WePay, and etc... But I believe there have to be a demand for that for Steam to go out of their way to open an account with that service, and not only that would cost them money as well, so it make sense why Steam doesn't go out of their way adding every new company/service because someone ask them to do so, it make sense to do so if there's a high demand for it by the community, but if not, then it will not happen. OP didn't exactly list which service to begin with, other than listing some banks.

As far as I can tell, I see no reason why can't get a credit card, other than not wanting one, unless:
A. Under age.
B. Bad credits, can't apply for any credit card.
C. No credit card willing to support, or supply one to the selected country.

I see no point freaking out linking bank accounts to a online service, that are like Paypal, or Paypal itself, because they all do the exact same thing, just offer different features, if you want to trust something, go for the most well known world wide reliable service.

Debit cards function with Steam, and as of right now, that's one of the closest (if not the closest) options we have.

Buying wallet cards is the best way to do everything here. No CC verification for purchases.
