New AAA game was $60 at the last sale. It now being $15 could be a 75% discount but it could also be a price reduction over the year and a smaller 50%.
There is no mechanism for what you actually probably want which is what game has reduced in price from release the most.
Nah man I literally just want to know the highest discount price, like I asked for. Idk how you managed to project your idea onto mine lol.
A price reduction means that the market demand for the game is lower than expected. If that's the case, then the original game wasn't worth that price to begin with. Zelda: BOTW hasn't gone down in price because the game is loved. Skyrim is still up there in price years later. Most games drop down to $40 or $30 within the first few months, because they could not sell high volumes for the full price. Odds are good that people-on-the-fence have read reviews and decided against the purchase.
So, essentially, if the price is reduced it means that the steam user base unwittingly lowered it to what it's proper value ought to be. So in summation, no, I just want to know the highest discounts.
Thanks man!
