Stop Spamming Me With Coupons
I'd like to stop getting notifications for new coupons in my inventory. First, this is spam, unwanted commercial solicitation, and I would never opt into this knowingly. Next, the items I'm offered are never interesting. I don't care if it's just a coupon and a notification. It's a waste of time and I won't stand for it. If it gets any worse, I'll just uninstall Steam, since I'm freakin' done with this garbage.

Last time I posted this, I was told to just ignore them or delete them. For the purposes of this post, these suggestions are off-topic and unhelpful, as are suggestions that they're not a waste of time.

quit crafting cards and devs canpass out coupons
I'm not talking about coupons related to cards. Coupons are occasionally randomly handed out in isolation from everything else, as far as I can tell. I don't know if it's something that algorithms think users would want, or when Valve gets a payment to promote a game, but it doesn't seem related to any action I take.

as i said it's either cards (when not during a sale) or devs choice to give the coupon out of you own a game
Ok, I understand what you meant now. Since it's not cards, it's devs. Then I suppose my request would be the ability to block devs from doing this at random and giving me notifications. It's not like, by buying a game, I agreed to be spammed by devs in perpetuity with no option to unsubscribe.
How often are you getting coupons? I get them very rarely.

I only think I got 2-3 in all of 2017. Not sure if they went to everyone, or if there was some 'quallifications' that made me eligible to receive them.

You need to fill something to get them
Like own a game that the Dev pick that will get the copun can be more then one game, but you need to own one of the games for them to be able to give a copun

If these coupons were for AAA+ titles then it wouldn't be much of a problem for me. Anyone like a 50% GTA 5 coupon, I sure would. But the coupons I tend to get are for crappy cheap games, games I wouldn't even buy from a humble bundle.

Yeah, it's sort of a classic paradox -- you'd want a discount on a game you already want, but you already want that game, so they won't give you a discount, and correspondingly for the other case.

Basically, coupons are for the rare case where someone's tastes might line up just right.
Argh, that's the second one this week!!! Make them stop!!!

I also got a voucher shoved into my inventory today. I want it to stop. I use my inventory to trade cards and extra crap being shoved in there gives me less room to work with. I have to use extra button clicks to go onto page 2 and it is annoying and frustrating.

I also don't need the notification as I have to check it to see if it isn't a booster pack and it is a big waste of my time.

I got one because I own hollow knight. I can't believe steam lets them do that! I don't want a discount on a game that could be interesting for me! Developers shouldn't be allowed do give discounts on there games for people that own some of their other games

Above This is a joke. Just so you know that.

I have received 2 (I think) coupons because a dev released a new game and I had another game from them.

I have 1 coupon in my inventory right now. I am not sure if I am gonna use it or not.

I don't get why people complain about free ♥♥♥♥!

On a sale it often gives you extra cards instead of a coupon. Someone on here once told me that and I've done it like that ever since. Do it as well and get free stuff!

because it gets in the way and it wastes my time. i have over 700 games. thats over 700 possibilities that some dev throws a coupon in my inventory. tis the same as them posting leaflets through your door. i dont need the hassle.
