Ability to send a friend request using the particular profile's nickname
Could you add an ability to send a friend request to someone with a really generic profile name such as 123 using the nickname you ascribed them with?

You can only assign naicknames to friend. Yes, they will stick, but still: what's the point?

I got some friends that I lost because there were 50,000 pages full of the same profile name. And thats y hoping that I could get back with them

You ask for a feature, where you can spaminvite all people with the same generic name, nahh, that is not going to happen, if you want to find your friend, you need to do it manually.

Throw in a few wildcards in the search/request, spammers would love such a feature.

I WANT TO ADD A GUY WITH A NICKNAME I ASCRIBED HIM WITH BECAUSE THERE ARE 50000 PEOPLE WITH HIS PROFILE NAME. AND I NICKNAMED 1 OF THEM.
There is a difference between Nickname and Profile name
