It is possible that Steam is doing something to get on its way, but I don't really think that
I use a text to speech software called Natural Reader it lets me mark stuff then press Ctrl+F9 to hear it playback to me
Sometimes like the copy you said, it seems to not be able to find the text
So overall I really think it's not a Ctrl+C issue but a focus issue, as in something takes the focus from Steam after you mark, so when you do the Ctrl+C you are not really marking anything
The issue is I am not sure what creates that, and that may need to be found
Besides that just to wonder do you do Ctrl+C 4 times? I find it overall as good practice I remember few times that windows just missed my Ctrl+C
And what I meant before is don't even reply to someone going off topic, you go too much with it, and the topic may be closed
Though of course sometimes I'd wish I was free to grant others their. Which I guess I am. But not without consequences to me :p
