choose global border avatar and links colors in client steam.
You can display the status of the player in the form of an icon in the corner of the avatar (white triangle in the corner, depending on the player's status, in which state the player, in that corner and triangle)

and we will see, in the profile comments, avatars that have borders of different colors, but with icons indicating the status of the player. and many will like it.

You can also add settings, do not display the colors of other global players, but then you can determine the status of the player on the network by the status icon triangle, either in the game or offline.

in the end, there will be three global regimes.

1. Look at the colors that are placed in your profile by other players, and you yourself.
2. Look at all the players in the colors that you have set for yourself.
3. Do not see the color as a whole monochrome.
4. Stay by default.

it is also possible to make for employees not a triangle but a square for example, it will also become even more prominent in games and forums. I would have liked it in their place. it's even safer for users than using only the avatar border colors.

the more so that colors can not all be well distinguished and according to statistics only 70% of the population can distinguish colors well, but a square distinguishes everything.

1. This is badly written and very hard to understand.
2. Having diffrent color names, boarders, flair, ect will only bring more unwanted trouble to Steam.

100% no thanks from me.

So you want to be able to have a red name on the forums? If yes that's most likely will never happen because moderators, admins, developers and Valve Employee has different colors. So they stand out on the forum.

thanks for reply.

for them, so you can have a triangle, but a different color and in general a triangle can also be made in different colors, not necessarily white.

We already went through the golden border fiasco where users immediately started impersonating and claiming they were admins to scam others. I swear it was about an hour since that happened before the first posts of scamming started popping up.

Nope.

how do you change the square to a triangle?

I think it's even safer for users than using only the avatar border colors.
