Add a Store Filter for AAA (Non Indie) Games ONLY.
I hate not being shown Modern AAA Games in the store which then causes me to have to Hunt for them. Why are these Titles not being advertised more then all of these Garbage Indie Games?
They ( In theory ) sell more anyways...Right?
Just make a Filter for the Steam Store called (AAA).

Look at EPIC Games store....
They only have Triple A Titles and some other more indie Titles here and there but that are of close to Triple A Quality.

I'm just tired of scrolling endlessly through lists of Games I couldn't give 2 craps about...

Triple A, as in, not made by some 40 year old stuck at his Mom's house in the basement in a cheap attempt to garner some sort of financial gain so that he can purchase yet more Star Wars memorabilia from Amazon to curb his depression.
that still doesnt provide a clear defination of what a AAA title is. If you want a section of the store that only shows AAA titles, it needs to be defined. The defination you have given just made 99%+ of the games on steam a AAA title.

AAA (video game industry)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

AAA (pronounced and sometimes written Triple-A) is an informal classification used for video games produced and distributed by a mid-sized or major publisher, typically having higher development and marketing budgets. AAA is analogous to the film industry term "blockbuster".

In other words, I only want to see Major Titles.
Games like,

Call of Duty.
PUBG.
Battlefield.
Rainbow Six.
Monster Hunter World.
Mortal Kombat.
Ect ect...

I'd list more but I cant because I haven't seen many triple A games here on Steam.
It's either a Problem that Steam lacks having these Titles, or....
They suck at Marketing them.

I'm coming from 17 Years of playing on Xbox to recently switching to PC and the differences in Games Stores are Night and Day.

I'm not saying Indie Games are Bad.
I just dont really care to try them out.

When im on the Xbox Store ( Console not windows )
Every single Game is Triple A Rated.
and thats all Im asking for, is a Section of Steam that only sells those Games.
I know they exist on Steam...Its just a Pain in the "Explicit" to find them.
Its like looking for a Good Book in a Library but without that 1 Filter that could cut the crap from my search.

do you tell the book library to remove all their books except the bestsellers? clearly not.
learn how to use the filters (you can block anything with indie in it )yourself or follow a curator that only curates AAA games that you also seem to want.

https://store.steampowered.com/account/preferences/

https://store.steampowered.com/curators/topcurators/?filter=all&keywords=AAA&x=0&y=0

so if you don't like how it is on pc, i would recommend that you should go back to xbox.

In other words you want to be shown the titles you already know. Look for them, unlike Epic Steam offers a search function.

Please do list the developers you think meet this definition, as well as the evidence supporting that belief.

You guys are so PC jeez.....
You know what I mean...
I do not want to play/see crap games.
If I could, Id stick every Title Steam has on the "Week Long Sale" straight into the dumpster...

Does this work?

https://store.steampowered.com/search/?tags=-492

Simply excludes all games tagged "indie" (i.e. tag number 492, which has a negative sign here to indicate exclusion).

Here's a link that specifically points to games, and excludes stuff like DLCs etc.:

https://store.steampowered.com/search/?tags=-492&category1=998&page=4

There's also that preferences link that someone else already posted, which is a more general exclusion, not just for the search.

not sure what this has to do with "political correctness" (as presumably that's what you mean by "PC")

Regardless, don't be surprised if it includes games you're not interested in -- there are still over 8000 non-indie games on Steam, according to search results.

Also, you can actually follow developers/publishers you like. I think you click the dev/pub name on a store page and if they've set up a page for themselves you can follow it like you follow a curator.

What they are trying to tell you, in an annoying way, is that one man's AAA is another's indie crap.

Also, all medium sized developers that don't make the cut would raise hell if the definition doesn't include them.

Lastly, the AAA games at the top are mostly exclusives at their publishers store or Epic these days.

SO you'd rather have some rich guy in a villa get rich off you instead of a basement dweller? Hmm. Okay... we can do that.

Besides, it´s not crap. These are all great games, if you like many things. And I find it fun to look through all those obscure titles. How can you not enjoy that? I think it´s fair to not have such a filter.
But then again, it´s your suggestion. So... yeah.

Just search on google AAA games, there are millions of lists and videos about that.
Dr.Shadowds 🐉 2019년 5월 7일 오전 1시 16분
A. Search by publisher you want only.

B. Use filters, and filter out things you don't like.

C. Subscribe to stay in touch with publishers about their up coming games.

One man trash is another man treasure. One game you don't like, doesn't apply to everyone else.

Fyi Epic game cherry picking their games, they're not doing anything better than other platforms that been trying to look like a top platform, as even overtime they will have more than enough games to change how things looks. Also even "AAA" publishers can makes bad games, where some indie game make better games than them, example yooka laylee a "AAA" game with huge budget, was beaten by indie devs that made a hat in time that has a much lower budget and was not a "AAA" game, go fig.
