All of this would go on his own profile for his friends to see, so it's not gonna be in your face.
However, Steam will have to work with youtube and twitch to make this happen and it will probably be very low on their priority list.

All the showcase has to have is the picture you use on Twitch/Youtube, if on/off line, views and subs and ofc when you click it it opens in your main browser.
The advertising is a non issue since it's on your profile and you can already have those link on your profile and still tell others to check them out or even add them to the forums.
Well, as you guys can see on one of my images ( https://imgur.com/XbXXTGg ) steam allredy has a video category on profile, right above workshop review, BUT no one enter there. I never went to my friend`s video category. And its linked w/ my youtube account and I could select the videos i want to show, its basically the link system Im suggestin, but its on the wrong place.
It just need to be a showcase with the links and showing the art of channel.
