You're not going to earn people to your cause with that attitude. Maybe you should try to step down of that high horse because you're basically sounding like a extremely pompous 14 year old acting like you have some higher intellect.
BTW, have you actually tried to do an 'RPG Maker' game yourself? It really doesn't take two hours and 1/138th of a brain to do one.
All of these complains always remind me of the people complaining how taking a picture with a DSLR takes no effort, but then can't make a good photo with a DSLR themselves.
Have you looked at how many 'crafting survival' games are out there with the same mechanics? You're going to find a lot os the same whatever you look for. Try narrowing your search with more tags other than 'classic' (which is a very broad one)
This is Gabes backyard and he decides what he want to grow in it.
If you see flowers you don't like, don't pick/look at them, thats how I do it.
Show me a store that will remove stuff you do not approve, they will just shake their heads at you.
That's basically /thread.
It doesn't matter whether the game was made using RPG Maker, Adventure Maker, Game Maker, Unity or a homebrew engine. In the end what counts is the game itself. Either it's good or it's bad.
If memory serves, rpg maker xp used RGSS for its scripting, which was rather resilient in what custom mechanics you could program into it (I remember one guy who used it to make a first person dungeon crawl as an example )
