Provide an easy way to report Steam bugs...

I would like to request an easy way to report bugs in the Steam client as I recently found a bug (a minor display bug, but still a bug) and I've spent an hour unsuccessfully trying to find an appropriate place to report it.

The bug itself seems fairly easy to reproduce. If you are on the downloads screen and have game updates that are queued up and you click to start one of the updates immediately then the download progress bar on the main Steam client (the one that would show below "X of Y Items Complete") is off center, but as soon as you move the mouse over that progress bar it centers itself (as mentioned a minor display bug). This is using Steam package version 1490911112 on Windows 10 Home with up-to-date patches.

If its in the steam beta client... there is the steam client beta area.... if its not... there is this area where you can report bug. If its a bug that opens up peoples accounts to others getting into it, send it in via steam support.

Easy enough.

I'm not using the beta client, so I can't verify it is in the beta client and thus should not be reported in the beta client area.

If by "this area" you mean the "suggestions / ideas" area then I was unsure about whether to report it here or not because this doesn't really seem like the right place for it.

I tried to find a way to report just a normal bug through Steam Support, but they don't have an area for that and minor bugs really shouldn't be sent through areas intended for high priority or show-stopping bugs.

So no, there is no easily identifiable area for submitting minor or normal bugs, hence my suggestion/request for an easy way to report bugs.

If you going to report something, move to beta first, as it may have all ready been fixed
If its not fixed then, then you report in the Beta Clint group

Makes no scene to report something on a client that is not the latest latest out for the public as it may just be an old bug in that point
