Any thoughts from anyone or am i creating an autorun .bat file? haha
Re the solution, it looks like the alignment should be fixed so that larger fonts can be displayed, if I read that right.
Brilliant! Thank you!
For me, i really dislike that skin and way prefer the default.
So, i looked at what folders and files were in the metro skin, copied those same files and folders from the main steam directory, and put them into a new named folder inside the skins directory.
It worked! i now have default skin and don't have to edit or replace that file every restart haha woo!
Thanks again Shadowheart!
How can we remove "FPS" text after the numbers? I have an OLED screen and don't want it to be burned in after a while. Since the numbers dynamically changing, they do not pose such problem but fixated "FPS" text is problematic.
You probably can't remove that, I'd suggest you to use Afterburner and leave nothing but the fps counter on the screen.
When you increase font to a certain size the "FPS" disappears and is replaced with a "..." which is a bit better.
I managed to get text size to 26, left align, and 0 margin and it works perfectly.
Yes, I changed the font size of all 3 to 35, margin=0, & align=right
The text "fps" is no longer visible but I can actually read the numbers now
I keep getting it reset every time I start my computer again. I use an application called FPS Monitor and it fills the void.
https://fpsmon.com/en/ - The free version has a little overlay at the bottom, but everything works including saving layout configurations.
Here are a couple of screenshots that show its powerful features.
