Magicka
Everytime I open Magicka it closes. I've redownloaded it twice and used the xnafx installer. I've also fiddled with sound settings. I'm at a loss right now, anybody have any other solutions that may work?

This is the error message I found in the dependencies file...

I've had trouble with it recently. Most of the cutscene inro will play but if I click to skip it loads half way and quits. I tried updating .net frameworks to 4.5 but that did nothing. I'm as lost as you.

Yeah, I'm having this problem... I just got a new computer and it is quite good (better than the one I used to play Magicka on)... Maybe it is Windows 8 stuffing me around.

My error report is:

I found this on forums for Terraria and it helped me:

Try uninstalling Magicka (if it's installed yet)

1. Download and install this: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=0a391abd-25c1-4fc0-919f-b21f31ab88b7

2. After that is finished installing, download and install this: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=a88c6dec-aeae-42cd-a108-d35c013c3b97

3. After you've completed those steps, go back into Steam, and reinstall Magicka. It should skip the .NET and XNA installers, and should load up just fine.
