IMO one of the best ways to help out would be for one of the Valve engineers to chime in and let us know what's happening and when things should be up and running again. Make it a sticky so people don't have to wade through dozens of posts of angst and confusion.

Yeah, servers go down now and then - I get it. But the lack of communication from Valve is most annoying.

That's not for us to do. We can't help, THEY can. It's not our decision.

Well the game I bought during the downtime says I bought it but it won't let me download it and it doesn't show it in my library. Great.
