I believe accounts with no paid games on it are purged after a certain period of non-use.
Please note that this action is permanent and will not be reversed.
I'm sorry you're not "impressed with Steam." You own a total of 2 games, are you not impressed with the games, or just Steam in general?
What don't you like about it and why is it so terrible that it requires you to permanently close the account?
You could always just never use Steam ever again. Based on the 2 games you play, I'd be rather disappointed with Steam too though. =P
I don't know if you're a troll, might be.
However it took awhile for me to adapt to Steam, I love it now and think its one of the greatest things on the interwebs (After I got a few games acourse).
It is ridiculous that you can register an account in three clicks but not have the possebility to cancel it.
There should be one rule for all companies who use accounts:
As easy it is to register an account, it should be as easy to cancel the account.
That said, in the terms of agreement steam talks about canceling the account by yourself and by them.
why then can't a steam account be canceled?
He has a point there!
maybe my reaction is a bit late but still.....

So why can't a steam account be canceled by yourself?
And if it is possible why can't i find anything about how to do it?
Tavisroot has a big point here!
