Here are some other specs
Running windows 7
Manufacturer: Toshiba
Model: Satellite L755
Processor: Intel Pentium CPU B950 @2.1GHz 2.1 Ghz
RAM: 4 GB
System type: 64 Bit
It's not exactly a gaming laptop, but it can run 30-60fps on close to high settings just fine and I've never had this problem before. I never edited any of my files either. I just remember it started after a steam update (not sure which one). The sound works just fine when I do everything else so I don't think the card itself is bad.
Toshibas are just fine, this one is probably only acting up because it got dropped about 12 feet (dogs, let's leave it at that). Aside from the audio issue it works fine and I fixed that issue by just using my headset.
If you go down several posts you'll find another reason toshiba sucks. The problem for me has now migrated to Youtube as well. I would just use headphones, but my jack is broken.
