Can a friend play a game on my PC with his account?
Friend and I want to play some Sins of a Solar Empire, he's got no internets at the moment and no Laptop to capable of playing.

We've both got the game, so If i installed it on my laptop as well as my PC, and he signed into one of them and I the other, would we be able to play?

Sorry if it's an obvious answer, but any help appreciated. Cheers.

You know I dont know for sure, but I think that is the purpose of the steam thing, so you can move around and use your own liscened ( sic ) software on any computer. The account controls the ownership of the product.... give it a try, I would like to know for sure myself..

Yes, but some files/saves may be shared between the two, so be careful you don' t lose your saved games.

Yes - he will need to use his login and if Steam guard is active, he will need to authorize the PC with a code that steam will send to the email he has linked with Steam.

Make sure that he goes to Steam->Settings->Account tab and checks the box for 'don't save account credentials on this computer' and that he logs out of Steam when he has finished playing.
