banned from steam forum for no reason at all

me too, while, you can check my message history, while i am only beeing constructive, join in conversations, and respond to people, perhaps abit too much, they didntl ike it, so i got permbanned for no reason at all.... perm banned, really ?!?!?!?

this gives me the feeling im severely limited in my gaming pleasure, if i cant get on the forum, especially for no reason at all, it breaks my confidence to spend any money on a already dubious setting that is running solely on consumer convidence, since i dont know what actions are taken against me, when they "next time" dont agree with the content of my posts, or if im answering too many times.(okey real psamming or insulting should be reprimanded, but things liek this)

i would like to know if we could eventually do something about it, since its grossly negative experience for normal run of the mill, paying customers, liek me , to permanently ban them from a part of this community without any notice at all.....in my eyes this seriously limits me from having fun with the said game. i know they can do it according to the rules, but if this proof of a fair business mind ? no not really.

i would like to know if more people have recieved any action against them from a anonymous guy, that obviously likes to ruin the steam reputation, and then im not talking only about this.....

this will surely give me the incentive to find another buying option for me to buy my games, because this is getitng a principle thing.

i could name false advertising, ridiculously late support responses, and even then, takes 1.5week to get the automated response......... does this mean, that steam doesnt care anymore about theyr 7 year old customers ???? it sure feels that way ......

the monkey part is just a conclusion after a objective observation..... a normal moderator would have given a notice, warning of somesort, and not permban without any notice. if all, it would be an insult to the ape races of this world.

we will see what support will say about htis, but i can tell you for sure, this has broken my convidence in buying any game from now on on this "service",

YOU have posted this complaint in AT LEAST three threads now, including this one. YOU keep calling names, and making inflammatory comments about the Moderators. Calling people 'monkeys' is neither 'objective' (please learn what a word means *BEFORE* using it) or showing anything other than a bad attitude. Keep insulting people though. Are moderators elected; I can't remember voting for one at any time and so don't have any respect, as such, for them. This does not mean that I go out of my way to be disrespectful, or rude etc, it just means as stated; " I have no respect for them." Free speach is universal in democratic and civilised societies and so it should be here; within the boundries of the the Discussion Rules and Reg's...often, imho, the moderators get it wrong on times.
I suppose moderators to moderate the moderators would be an answer; but that could be infinite. :)

You can always go and make your own forums, with your own rules. On these forums, Valve's rules are law, upheld and enforced by Moderators selected by Valve. This is a private company's website. The 'free speech' you're talking about does not, in fact, apply. Moderators on individual game forums are selected by their publisher and/or developer. What they say in their sections, goes. If you don't like it, you're free to not post. Same goes for the OP.

I have no qualms with that, but I do not have to go along with the attitude that the moderators never get it wrong...they mean very little to me and the free speech applies in private companies that abide/trade in countries that uphold the democratic right of said "free speach,"
If you want to dictate, go live in a country with a "Dictatership Regime."
We all live within the law of our companies or whatever, but company law does not overide state law.

The ban you received seems to have been given by mistake: you weren't the one who was supposed to be banned.

I've removed the ban, so you should be good to go.

The tools currently available on Steam Discussions aren't really good to warn people or to communicate with the moderation team. Valve is aware of these limitations and will eventually address them.

oh thanks man, i know, the monkey reference went abit too far hahaha

but i didnt know how to call it otherwise, sure i know i have to tone down some of my behavior, but usually if im gettign nasty, its already the mood that is usually set before me on the forum.


thanks for replying here, this saves alot of bad thoughts about this problem from my part, i will try to behave more like i should. I know in some of the posts i made i used abit too much harsh language, but like more than 90% of my posts are problem solving, or just joining the conversation.
