Does anyone know how to find out what date i joines steam?

Not sure it is exact, but if you go to account details (in the top right under "person"s account) and store transactions it should list the first time you bought anything on Steam, which for newer accounts should probably be the same as you unlocked your acquisition badge (18 Aug 2012 in your case). Not sure if there is a way of knowing how long before that you might have had a Steam account but not bought any games, but for most people this is probably around the same date.

actually remembered a way: steamdb shows it, and confirms 18 Aug 2012[steamdb.info] was the date your profile was created.

Once you have at lease one year of service. you will get a "Years of Service" badge. when you click on this badge it will show the date you registered.
