You should never trade in this fashion, because as far as Steam is concerned you gifted your game away.

Honestly, if you were trying to trade him DOTA2...

Dota 2 isn't worth anything. The game will be f2p and they are giving away keys for taking a survey. Many are also giving keys away for free.

Some are under the false assumtion that they are worth something because of the DOTA 2 store page. Diffrence is the game people give like this is only the access, while the store page gives them a lot of items too.
